One last sunset before we leave this idyllic location tomorrow.
Early morning excursion to check out the local flamingoes in Parque Natural da Rua Formosa. There are well formed trails from the bridge to Praia de Faro through the tidal salt mines which attract lots of flamingoes and other water birds.
First, the flamingoes.
Flamingo dancing.
Spoonbills and terns (?)
Salt, lots of salt.
Enroute to Spain we stopped off in the whitewashed village of Tavira.
There's a church, with blue tiles.
And the cutest little castle yet.
Back to Spain now. No more Pasteis de Nata.
