As luck would have it, I managed to book us into a resort on Airbnb for our few days on the Costa del Sol. And it is luxury plus. Our apartment is the bottom one on the left.
The view from my bedroom and the patio. The oxen is ten metres away, the restaurant, five.
On of the seven pools.
The gardens are kept meticulously with a range of tropical plants and some interestingly carved eucalyptus trees.
But we did manage to drag ourselves away from paradise. Visiting the Carrefour supermarket is a day out in itself. It's huge and you can get anything here.
The main beach in town, we are definitely out of the tourist season now.
Several Cafes along the beach, this guy roasting sardines.
Fun things to play on.
We had lunch at the recommended restaurant on the jetty, renowned for its fresh seafood. Helen enjoyed the razor clams and prawn omelet, me the chips.
Walking back though the old town. Each street is decorated with different coloured pots.
The green pot street.
The red and white spotty street.
The pink street.
The blue street.
The remains if the old castle, Moorish of course.
Plaza del Flores.
Tiles at the market.
