Another day in Seville

Visiting the Real Alcazar, royal Palace, was the agenda for today. Built over a thousand years ago and added to by successive rulers, this palace includes intricate mosaic tiling and delicate carved plaster lining the walls and ceilings.

Shady gardens and courtyards throughout the palace.

They say flamenco is everywhere in Seville and here it is at the palace.

The underground swimming pool.

The fountain that plays baroque music each hour.

After the palace we visited yet another highly decorated church, Iglesia del Salvador, known for its gold carvings that shine with sunlight through well placed stained glass windows.

A last wander through the streets of Seville soaking up that flamenco feeling.

And a fun night in the village with the relos; Ana, Paul, Valery, Andy and Kristina.

Best vego meal in Spain!
